Bio:I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Dominican University New York. Previously, I worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at Trinity College in Hartford, CT (2019-2022) and at Marquette University (2018-2019). I receiving my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky in Fall 2017.
My research interests include Phenomenology, 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy, Epistemology, the Philosophy of Perception, and Social and Political Philosophy. My new book, Merleau-Ponty and Contemporary Philosophy of Perception, is just out with Routledge's Research in Phenomenology series. My previous book, entitled Motivation and the Primacy of Perception: Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Knowledge, was published in 2021 with Ohio University Press. I have teaching interests and experience in Phenomenology, Epistemology, Philosophy of Perception, and the History of Philosophy, as well as in Social and Political Philosophy, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mind, Logic, and Ethics. |
